We feel that as guests of Bali we have an obligation to give back to our community in a very material way. We’ve committed to supporting local initiatives that have a positive social or environmental impact on the island.

While searching for organisations to support, we learned about a nearby orphanage, Chloe Orphans Bali. The orphanage holds up to 20 children from Bali and neighbouring islands. A group of very dedicated and compassionate people in the community do their best to ensure the basic needs of the children are met, from the time they enter the orphanage until they graduate from high school.

After learning about the operation and meeting the staff to understand the most pressing needs, we decided we could best support them by paying for every child’s post-primary education. This ensures each young adult has the opportunity to receive the accreditation they need to find a well-paying job and to be self-sustaining after they leave the orphanage.
